brand new sewing machine!!!!

Getting a new sewing machine doesn't mean forgetting about the old one...
I still can't believe how many things can I do with this new machine (Necchi 680c) and how many things I managed to sew with the old one (many of its functions were not available and it was even impossible to use its light since the plug was broken since decades). I still don't know how it sews buttonholes (1 step-automatic) and there are still many stitches to try... The machine brand new sewing machine is still on a table in the dining room...because I've been sewing many things "to-be-sewn" since some time ago. I plan to sew a couple of bags using some cloth I got a few months ago.

It was pretty hard to decide...the other choices were a Bernina Bernette (don't remember the exact model) and a Fomax KDD 3066...after many "investigations", visits to shops and internet surfing sessions.

testing a stitch pattern...

Several weeks ago I started what was supposed to become a bolero using a recently discovered stitch pattern. The project is now on stand by because I'm having some problems with the sleeves and I think I'll change the "concept-design". The fact is that I'm not going to forget about this stitch pattern since I really like it. I planned to use this stitch patter to crochet some kind of little bag...but it's being hard to choose the 2 colours....When it comes to choosing among colours I tend to have problems and it takes me a lot of time.
